VuPal gives competitive edge to University of Kentucky sports
LOUISVILLE, KY – VuPal Network, LLC, announced it has entered into a three-year development agreement with the University of Kentucky Athletics Program that will allow the Wildcats to leverage video as a critical teaching tool for student athletes.

VuPal’s proprietary video technology dramatically improves the impact of game video as a teaching tool. Coaches use VuPal to insert comments into game video directly beneath relevant action. Players then access the video from anywhere they have an Internet connection to review the comments directed at them while they’re watching the play in question.
“We are very enthusiastic about implementing VuPal” said Rob Mullens, executive athletic director at UK. “We have already identified multiple uses beyond instruction, leading us to believe that the system will add additional value over time to UK Athletics.”
In addition to giving coaches a powerful new tool for using game video, the VuPal system also features the ability to distribute scouting reports, game plans and customize the delivery for each athlete.
The agreement with UK initially gives the school the ability to use VuPal for a number of men and women athletic teams including football, basketball, women’s soccer, softball and track programs. UK football will lead the country with this new innovative solution. Others are soon to follow.
